2018 Chicagoland Together Walk Teams
I hope many of Laura’s family and friends will join our team to show support for her and help raise money for raising awareness and supporting research into this nasty disease.
I am walking to spread awareness and help raise money for fibromyalgia medical research. Fibromyalgia is a challenge that I have had to learn to deal with everyday. Please consider supporting me one day by walking with me or donating to my team. I am part of the planning committee and this year is going to be a great day for the whole family. Thank you from the bottom of my full heart!
Hey guys! Please join me on this walk to fight fibromyalgia and chronic pain. If you cannot join us for the walk, please consider donating. Without money for research, we will not get new treatments as you may all know, none of the current treatments work for me.
Bringing together a team that is strong. A team that will stand in the face of diversity and not back down when the going gets tough and when people look at you as a liability rather than an asset.
WHO IS WITH ME ON THIS QUEST?
I am blessed to have amazing family and friends who have supported me for years. This year they are joining me on this awesome journey to bring awareness to this very real and debilitating condition. Together we are stronger!
I myself am a Fibro Warrior for over 16 years now. There are good and bad days. Some that are crippling and you can’t move. Help me in fighting this and bringing awareness to the world of this nasty disease.
I was diagnosed with Fibro 5 years ago. Please help me fund research to find a cure for Fibro!

Join the Fitz Fighters to support chronic pain and FM!! Walk, roll, or just relax – just join us for a great cause and stroll in the woods.
Come together with other FM diagnosed and their families and friends to enjoy raising awareness and money to the cause.
Mary Biancalana and Dr Renee Hartz were key supports of the inaugural event in 2017 and we are proud to be a sponsor again! We know the importance of creating a community to support those who are dealing with chronic pain conditions. We personally know many researchers who will benefit from this donated money via funding for their projects. They are working diligently to find a cure for Fibromyalgia and many other chronic pain conditions.
Fibromyalgia affects not only me, but my family. The constant struggle with chronic fatigue, fibro fob, poor memory, and aphasia lead to so many roadblocks in life. Not much is known about this terrible, invisible disease, nor is there much attention drawn to the lack of research or funding. Please help support this cause.
Bringing together a team that is strong. A team that will stand in the face of diversity and not back down when the going gets tough and when people look at you as a liability rather than an asset.

There are a lot of reasons to help this walk, but one reason I find is that we all have one condition that we share. It is called the “human condition.” We all have a “caring condition,” and whether we find it within ourselves early on in life or later, we all care about something. This is what I have found myself caring about. Actually, all the leaders of all the walks have found themselves caring about this at a very deep level. So when you find yourself caring about THIS cause, please remember that the leaders are caring at a very deep and personal level for this cause with you. So dig deep and join in the fundraising and friend-finding cause of this event!
